The convergence platform — an orchestration tool built to help build itself

In November 2025 we brought together everything learned from earlier build platforms into one AI-driven orchestration tool that generates complete software projects from natural language — and deliberately uses itself to help build itself. Sprint 10 complete, full PRD, advanced but internal-status-only at the time of the audit.

What it was

An AI-driven development-orchestration platform: a full-stack application that generates complete software projects from natural language, structured so that the platform itself is used to help build the platform — a deliberate dogfooding design, not an afterthought.

What we built

Research

A working system spanning TypeScript, React 18, and Vite on the front end; Express and Fastify on the back end; PostgreSQL, Redis, and Qdrant (a vector database) for data and retrieval; Prisma as the ORM; an LLM router for model selection; Stripe for billing; and Docker plus a Turborepo monorepo tying the whole thing together. At the time of the audit, Sprint 10 was complete, backed by a full product requirements document.

Everything learned from earlier platforms — the dev-platform product, the vocabotics agent contract, and an earlier full-stack orchestration/CLI platform — fed into this one convergence effort, rather than spinning up yet another parallel line.

What we learned — including the honest negative(s)

Dogfooding was treated as the real test, not a nice-to-have: if an orchestration platform can't meaningfully help build itself, it isn't ready to help build anything else. That's a harder bar than "it demoed well," because using the tool on its own codebase surfaces the gaps a scripted demo would hide.

The honest edge is about status language, stated plainly: "Sprint 10 complete" and "advanced" are this project's own internal markers, not a claim of external release or third-party adoption. This report doesn't inflate an internal milestone into a shipped-product claim. It's also worth naming directly that dogfooding proves the platform can help build itself — it does not, on its own, prove the platform is ready to help build other people's projects.

Where it went / status

Advanced, internally, at the time of the audit — not externally released. This convergence effort is a direct architectural ancestor of the much larger NovaTerra/NovaOS world-platform synthesis that followed roughly six months later, which took the same "one platform, converged" instinct much further.
